What is it?

What functions are included?

Everything you’d expect to find in a complete integrated manufacturing software system:

• A complete Bill of Materials processor with full costing (Material, Labor, Material and Labor Burden or Overhead, Sub-Contract, Setup, and Lot Size), manufacturer’s cross references, and reporting up to ten levels of product structure.
• A comprehensive suite of Bills of Material reports including single level, indented, costed and uncosted, where used, and summary formats, as well as a report that compares two bills of material.
• A material planning and tracking module that tracks all sales orders, forecasts, work orders (planned, firm, and released), purchase orders, and raw materials and finished goods inventories, with a complete audit trail on all inventory transactions. And of course, the reports that tell you every day what to make and buy to meet your customer commitments.
• A Physical Inventory module with extensive reporting, unlimited inventory location tracking, and updates to on-hand quantities by selected locations.
• A Purchase Order module where you can enter and print Purchase Orders.
• A Sales Order Module to enter and track your customer orders.
• A Capacity Planning module that uses your labor routings to report each day what the activity will be in each work center and what percent of its capacity is being used.
• A suite of Utilities that supports multiple databases, lets you copy and backup your database, export data, and maintain users and passwords.

How easy is it to implement and how long will it take?

E-Z-MRP is arguably the simplest approach to MRP and the easiest to implement of any MRP software system in software history – designed, as it was, for the small to medium-sized manufacturing firm or autonomous divisions of larger companies. What hardware and software do I need?

E-Z-MRP will run on any Windows–based PC – single user or network.

E-Z-MRP can run with Microsoft Access 2003 or later but does not require it.

And you’ll need a good, fast workhorse of a printer. That’s it.
